Cold rooms, cabinets and refrigerated counters
We inspect cold rooms, upright fridges and freezers, refrigerated preparation counters and display cabinets. Their installations and operating conditions differ, so loss of cooling does not always have the same cause or require the same repair.
Tell us whether the equipment still cools at all, whether the problem occurs at particular times and whether one area or the whole cabinet is affected. The model and access arrangements help us prepare the visit.
- Temperature rising or failing to reach its usual level.
- Excess ice, visible water or intermittent operation.
- Controller alarms, new noises or repeated shutdowns.
Identify the cause before choosing a repair
A fridge that is not cooling does not automatically need refrigerant. The technician must identify the fault and assess the equipment. A photograph alone is not a sufficient basis for deciding to replace a component or carry out a particular intervention.
After inspection, we explain the findings, proposed work and any parts required. The condition of the equipment and the scope of the fault help inform your decision. The repair is agreed before work begins.
Useful information for a WhatsApp request
Share information you can obtain without opening the equipment. A photograph of the temperature display or alarm can be especially helpful.
- Equipment type, brand, model and an accessible identification plate.
- Displayed temperature and when you first noticed the change.
- Alarm code and photographs of the equipment and its location.
- Business address, municipality, contact person and access hours.
- Whether other units are affected or there was a recent power interruption.
Prepare for the visit and protect your operation
Keep the equipment accessible and tell us where the units and controls are, without removing protective covers. Do not alter pipework or the refrigerant circuit, and avoid repeatedly restarting the equipment. Stop using it if there is a burning smell or an electrical problem, and explain the situation when you contact us.
Manage stored products according to your business's food safety procedures. Repairing the equipment does not establish whether its contents remain safe. Visits across Tenerife are arranged according to location and availability.
Frequently asked questions
Do you repair large commercial freezers?
Yes. Send the model, photographs and approximate size to help us assess the equipment and access requirements.
Does a cooling problem mean the refrigerant is low?
Not necessarily. Several faults can cause similar symptoms, so diagnosis is needed before choosing a repair.
Can several units be inspected during one visit?
Mention this when booking and provide the details of each unit so the scope of the visit can be planned.
